Undergrowth, commonly used to feed livestock.
Crops whose production cycle ends in one year or less.
Crops with long cycles, which do not need to be replanted after the end of a production cycle.
Initial phase in which the need is to understand and investigate what potential customers are looking for, in order to identify and solve their pain points. At this stage, the most frequent investors are family members, the entrepreneur himself and his personal network of contacts.
Phase in which the product or service is validated in the market. The most used path is the launch of an MVP (Minimum Viable Product), which is a version of the solution with basic functionalities launched among a select audience to test its acceptance in practice.
At this stage, the main objective is customers and the startup needs to find the fit between the proposed solution and the consumer market, known as product market fit. It also includes investments known as Series A: responsible for allowing the idea to actually become a business, enabling the closing of new contracts and defining the best monetization model.
The main objective here is to make the company grow. At this point, investment in marketing and sales must increase, to make the solution known and strengthen the brand in the market. This is considered the stage where the company must reach business maturity.
This phase occurs when the company achieves an average growth of 20% for 3 consecutive years. To achieve this, the business model needs to be consolidated and effective. From this point on, the company can choose to maintain the essence of a startup or seek the path to becoming an “Enterprise”.
